The Carnival of Venice; get into the mood!

The most known and oldest carnival in the world; Venice's magnificent carnival, is undoubtedly one of the world's most unique experiences. Its history goes back centuries with its invention to be said that was dedicated to the victory of the "Serenissima Repubblica" against the Patriarch of Aquileia, Ulrico di Treven in the year 1162, although it most probably became official during the Renaissance, when its popularity also started to grow.

 

However, what makes so special and unique the Venetian Carnival is its masks. Those mysterious Venetian masks are something more than just simple tricks of the carnival for the Venetians; they are still a strongly felt tradition that reminds Venetians their past and love about libertines and transgression. For instance, in the past, by putting on a mask in Venice meant taking back forbidden liberties; you could then jibe at the powerful, gamble without being caught, take risks over business etc. There are numerous types of masks for any occasion that people of Venice felt the need to hide their identity, but still, they are all of them beautiful in their own way!

The last days of "like" in Facebook?

Rumors have been revealed last week that Facebook's most famous button will soon belong to the past with "Facebook Reactions" replacing them, but what are these reactions and how they might will look like?

Probably the world's greatest airport; International Airport of Dubai, is also and the one with the most passengers for 2015, with the number of them over passing an outstanding 78 million of separated individuals. An airport where more than 100 airlines have set their own airplanes for commercial flights, which their arrivals in the spot, throughout the last year had slightly past the enormous number of 400000. MotoGP 2016; results of first year's test in Sepang

Reigning MotoGP champion Jorge Lorenzo, kicks off the season with an incredible result in Sepang, where he was one-second faster by his Movistar Yamaha Team-mate and 2015 title rival Valentino Rossi, who admitted that the gap with Lorenzo was quite big throughout the test-day, although he personally managed to finish second, ahead from Pedrosa by (just) 0.063s.
